Pre-Natal Yoga - Introduction

Pregnancy is a very special and transformative time in a woman's life. It has a remarkable spiritual meaning, followed by emotional and physical symptoms.

Yoga is the perfect environment to help adapt to all these changes: As a pregnant woman practices Yoga, she will rescue back her instinctive sense of body and mind and being guided by a specialized instructor, build-up confidence for the so expected birth of her child.

The Pre-Natal class works very well as to minimize the physical discomforts of pregancy and help relax the mind, in order to bring the inner feeling of peace, so necessary for the right evolution of a new human being.

The practice of Asanas (postures) will strengthen, tone, and very gently stretch the body as to better prepare it for labor and the monthly changes. Pranayama (breathing practices), will help relax mind and body, and enhance awareness of what is going on with the growing belly and the mother as a whole.

The Yoga Nidra (relaxation) will enable the mom-to-be to reserve some time for herself in the middle of her daily activities, a delicious and refreshing time to rest and relax.

Meditation will focus on the growing baby and consciousness of motherhood, transfer of energy to this new soul that will soon come to light.

The Pre-Natal Hatha Yoga class is open to women after their third trimester and it is for all levels of practitioners.
